Production in St. Augustin
In 2001 HumanOptics AG acquired the company, Dr. Schmidt Intraocularlinsen, and merged with it to form a small globally orientated group. The production site in St. Augustin can look back at more than 50 years of corporate history. The many years of know-how in precision technology and medical optics are the basis for "innovation from tradition".
The implants are made of silicone, acrylic and PMMA materials with the highest level of quality. Special production is a core competence, whereby the objective is to fulfil individual customer requirements and thus enable the best sight for the patient.
